Cilantro Plant

Full sun cool season crop. Cilantro has a short life cycle meaning it wants to flower, produce seed and die quickly. Harvest 1″ above the soil line regularly to prevent flowering and keep the plant growing. We use cilantro in just about everything, but if it is new to you, try making Puerto Rican style sofrito, which combines cilantro, garlic, and sweet peppers to use a base for cooking.
